Serious Science for the Serious Hunter.

Serious Science for the Serious Hunter.
Buck Fever Reliever’s proprietary formulation helps create ions and neurotransmitters that increase the efficiency of the brain’s signal transduction, keeping your mind ready and your body steady. The results: no YIPS, no JITTERS.
"When stress is intense, such as the sight of a buck sneaking up on you, a phenomenon called fight or flight occurs in your body. Your pituitary gland, which is located at the base of your brain, secretes hormones that regulate many body processes. When you perceive needed action, this gland increases the secretion of the adrenocorticotropic hormone, which produces adrenaline (epinephrine) and cortisol – immediately causing your pulse to quicken, your muscles to tense and your blood pressure to increase. These responses prepare your body to fight the danger or flee.
The brain has over 100 billion nerve cells, or neurons, and the body has millions more. Electrical signals are produced in the brain and transferred through the central nervous system. These electrical signals take energy to produce. In a fight or flight situation, the additional energy to fuel the electrical signals is stolen from the energy typically used to fuel the body’s normal function. As energy is depleted, so are your muscles’ abilities to perform at peak levels. Since your arms and legs are the furthest from your core they will be depleted first. This depletion will cause the yips or even greater “BUCK FEVER.”
Your body then increases blood to your muscles, your heart begins to beat faster, and your blood pressure increases abruptly. Blood is directed away from your stomach in an effort to feed your brain. Your body also releases potential sources of energy into your bloodstream in the form of blood sugars and fats, and it secretes certain chemicals that will help your blood to clot in case of an injury. Your nervous system also moves into action and dilates your pupils so that you can see better if light is poor. The muscles in your face also tighten to possibly make you look more menacing.
Perspiration increases to keep your body cool and respiration accelerates to increase oxygen in your blood. All these changes prepare you for needed action, real or perceived."
