Smooth joints bundle

Outstanding products. My joints feel tremendously better and with the collagen my skin has tightened up and improved. I take all three daily and I am extremely pleased with the quality of the products. Service is also outstanding.

Smooth Joint Bundle

First and foremost I needed try something for my joints specifically for my knees. The pain I was experiencing during and after workouts wasn’t allowing me to train how I want to for an upcoming elk hunt. I decided to try the smooth joint bundle and after a week I am seeing an improvement already. Hopefully it continues to improve and I can get back to training at 100%.
Thank you
Justin

What are collagen peptides?

This is not your standard, off-the-shelf collagen powder. The combination of collagen types I, II, III, V, and X benefits virtually every area of the body. This potent blend builds stronger bones, denser muscles, smoother joints, and rejuvenates hair, skin, and nails. Strengthen the matrix of the musculoskeletal system with this powerful spectrum of collagen peptides.*

Collagen is the most abundant protein found in the human body.

It is the glue by which our bodies are held together. It is responsible for a laundry list of benefits beyond the improvements in the health of hair, skin, and nails. It improves the density of bones, protects cardiovascular health, relieves joint pain, speeds up recovery from injury, helps build lean muscle mass, and increases the strength and elasticity of connective tissues such as ligaments, tendons, and cartilage.

Starting as early as 25-30 years old, the natural production and quality of collagen begin to decrease. For example, by age 50, we have lost ~25% of the collagen in our skin, and ~50% by age 75. Fortunately, with a healthy diet and/or supplementation you can see improvements throughout the body to help look and feel younger.

COLLAGEN MAKES UP:

80% of the protein in our bones

70% of the protein in our skin

30% of all protein in the body

OMEGA-3 FISH OIL

Supports Cardiovasular Strength*

Benefits Brain Function*

Improves Skin Tone*

Feel the vitality of a well-nourished heart, a healthy brain, smooth moving joints, and improved skin-tone. These essential fatty acids will keep you looking and feeling younger without the “fish burps”.*

JOINT ADVANTAGE

JOINTS BUILT FOR DISTANCE

Smooth, easy, pain-free movement is taken for granted until we start losing that ability in our joints. Then, every step we take or lift we make can be an aggravated attempt to do the things we’re accustomed to doing.

Wilderness Athlete Joint Advantage is a state-of-the-science formulation that helps protect and preserve healthy mobility of every joint, from knees and hips to shoulders and wrists.*

GLUCOSAMINE

Glucosamine is naturally found in the body, particularly in the tissues of the cartilage, and is present to provide a natural cushion and shock-absorber for the joints.

Glucosamine allows us to move about freely while reducing friction, and pain that would naturally occur otherwise. It’s job is to pair with other proteins in the body to enhance the preservation of cartilage, and create the production of synovial fluid, which also provides further lubrication for the joints to keep them moving well and without difficulty.*

MSM

Trust me, this is an ingredient you’ll be thankful is abbreviated for embarrassment's sake. Methylsulfonylmethane gets its name for the star of the show, Sulfur, and it doesn’t take long to realize why this element deserves some credit. This sulfur-containing compound can naturally be found in some vegetables, other food items, and even within our bodies.

MSM has found to have numerous health benefits, including improved skin, reduction in muscle spasms, and even an improved environment within our gut. But the main focus for us here at Wilderness Athlete is the reduction in inflammation and swelling that MSM provides for our joints.

This compound generously improves the collagen production and assists in the repair process of the tendons and ligaments within our joints, and if that wasn’t enough, provides the flushing out of by products and excess fluids that naturally inflict swelling and pain.*

TURMERIC

Also known as the ‘Golden Spice,’ Turmeric gains its popularity among the culinary community for its earthy and powerful flavor in middle eastern areas, but quickly gained enormous respect in the medical field not long after.

The way it works in the body is the Curcumin found in Turmeric that is a natural anti-inflammatory that blocks the production of COX-2 (Cyclooxygenase-2) that is highly associated with inflammation in our bodies. Turmeric is also responsible for improving the Osteoarthritic conditions which is a chronic illness associated with, you guessed it, inflammation.

You can quickly see the plethora of benefits that Turmeric can give the body, and we love the fact that it’s a natural ingredient grown in the wild wilderness.*

BOSWELLIA

Another bang for your buck in the natural world of anti-inflammatories, Boswellia has been the focus of numerous scientific studies supporting the use of this in many cases including Arthritis pain, cancer reduction, increased healing from infections, and if that wasn’t enough, helps prevent Auto-Immune disease. You may have heard of it through its more common name, Frankincense and can be found in dryer climates of the Middle East, specifically in the Indian, and African regions.

Boswellia is backed by a plethora of scientific research speaking to the reduction in joint pain, especially when paired with Turmeric. Need I say more when it comes to Joint Advantage being the most viable option for joint relief?*

WHITE WILLOW

White Willow Bark might as well be a one-stop shop for all your pain needs. Really though, this natural extract found in the fibrous bark of White Willow trees can be referenced when dealing with joint pain, muscle soreness, menstrual cramps, and even headaches. What a wonderful resource to have in the pain department!

White Willows are native to the European regions including Asia, and Northern Africa, and gains its value in the chemical called Salicin. The name probably doesn’t sound familiar right off-the-bat, but is actually a key ingredient in Aspirin, though it contains many less side-effects as the man-made pain killer does. Salicin is responsible for breaking down oxidative stress which is where pain and inflammation throughout the body derives itself from.*

MEADOWSWEET

You will find Meadowsweet (Filipenula Ulmaria) as another active ingredient in the popular Aspirin pain killer as White Willow bark earlier discussed, but this flower also proves to be a much safer option in the pain and inflammation department. Aspirin is known for reducing lining integrity of the stomach walls in higher doses, whereas Meadowsweet provides healthy protection for the body’s system while providing anti-inflammatory benefits.

The extract from Meadowsweet contains flavonoids which contain antioxidant properties, warding off deterioration of cells. This is crucial when you take a look at the aging process specifically regarding our joints and keeping our tissues healthy for as long as possible.*
